Wisdom of a Taxi Driver
Last night on my way home from office, I took a taxi instead of commuting by Jeep and BMW (By Means of Walking) as I was still too tired from my overseas trip. I had a short conversation with the driver and there was wisdom in his stance on work satisfaction.
According to him,”If you are not happy or satisfied, then you should move on”, he then explained on how he applied it in his previous work as a construction foreman, he was not happy with how the company owner was handling the business and the people, so instead of staying on and grumble, he moved on immediately, it saved him sleepless nights thinking about it, it saved him headaches and all the sorts that come with dissatisfaction.
I then thought, that is wisdom in deed, if you are not happy anymore, save yourself and everybody else the time and effort and just move on.
