Execution, Implementation and Results

I read recently that 83% of the best in class organization value “execution” in the leaders most. I would totally agree with this, as I myself believe that only through results and how a initiative is implemented will speak for itself. It is also through these that we define how we work as well as our credibility. With the Multi-generation workplace, I believe that leading by example is more important than ever, as well as delegation and communication, leaders now should focus more on soft / management skills more than technical. How to maximize or capitalize each member of a team will be more crucial than ever. As initiatives become more complex and farther in-between, it will be a more creative and strategic environment, leading in an industry will be based on how innovative and creative an organization will be as well as how they build relationships internally and externally, making sure all stake-holders are kept only abreast apart.

It is a challenge and it is not easy, everyone must work together, a strong leader to rally the entire organization to move as one is needed, more importantly, flexible and agile middle managers will be the most crucial as this will define how the top level strategy will be implemented, flexibility and agility is key in this aspect. Open communication is one aspect that the entire organization must work for, make sure all lines are open and no idea or innovation falls in-between the cracks.

No idea is to far fetched, as one or two would eventually lead to a more valuable innovation in the end. This is not easy as I have already said, a lot of work must be done and let us always put in our minds to just do it !
