A Shrink in the Office

Just a couple of months ago, I was in one of the deepest episodes of my life and as I already posted before, I believe that personal and work life is one, I therefore asked our HR executive if we had a shrink in the company that I could talk to, bounce off and generally just listen. Sort of a guidance councilor in school.
I also recently got back in to a deep episode again, and I again felt that a shrink in the office would really help. Some might think that having a shrink might be a sign of something bad or is not necessary. I will disagree, as the corporate world encourages and requires passion and determination in their employees, the organization is already touching the emotional side of the individual.

Evaluations also take note of the mental health as well as the technical capability of the individual, and as I believe that work and personal life is one, a shrink in the office is needed now more than ever. To have an avenue or a channel to vent out to, a shrink will help. To keep everyone in an emotional healthy state, a shrink in the office is needed.

The more we push the individuals down the line, the more stability options we should provide. Individuals or corporate lackeys just like me only requires an objective shrink who can listen and give an object feedback, we need someone to empathize with and give a general direction. A healthy(physically and emotionally) worker is a productive worker. This is more so important with the creative and innovative types, as these traits requires going deep in to the being of the person so as an innovative or creative output may be produced.

Creativity and innovativeness is an innate internal trait that requires being attuned and in-touch with the inner being of the person, as it cannot be faked or conjured out of nowhere, it must be a reflection of the inner being, of the soul so to speak.

And so therefore, a shrink in the office will do wonders, in my honest opinion.
